TWO-DAY TEAM DEVELOPMENT PROGRAMME
FOR INTACT OR VIRTUAL TEAMS


OBJECTIVES
To improve the team’s synergy and effectiveness, through a team development event aimed to improve communication and information sharing.

 

TARGET AUDIENCE
Intact teams, virtual teams, teams working in a multicultural environment on a day-to-day basis.

 

CLASS SIZE
• 8-12 participants for a 1 facilitator-led session
• Multiple teams led by 2 facilitators in the same session, subject to a maximum of 24 participants
 

OUTCOMES
• Obtained a high-level awareness of one’s personality, style and preferences
• Obtained a high-level awareness of the impact of one’s own actions on others in the network
• Gained clarity on the perception of others on one’s role in the network
• Learned new skills in communication and information sharing
• Made commitment to actions sustaining and improving the current communication process for the network
• Gained a new sense of pride as a member of the network/team

METHODOLOGY
• Pre-work assessments (if time allows) or in-class assessment on Day One morning
• Short pre-programme survey on current status of the team/network
• Experiential team activities/problem-solving challenges/scenario discussions
• Mini lectures on key elements of effective communication

Mini lectures on stages of team development and team roles
• Team pledge for commitment to the network
• Network to set up post-programme, an ongoing system for information sharing, updating and learning
